Another Place is a personal work inspired on a longing to belong, a longing for home.
Belonging – to be acknowledged – a basic need of every human being.
This need becomes more pressing when you come to live in a different place. I have been
privileged to have been and continue to be such a stranger. I was a stranger in a city far away from
my home and that’s when my search for home began.
How do we relate to the place where we live? Is that what we call home? Are we not always
strangers too?
For me home does not necessarily have to be a physical place. Home can be anywhere, where
memories and desires meet.
